The History Of Woman Boxing !
1876: New York Hills Theater holds a boxing match between Nell Saunders and Rose Harland. This is considered the first female boxing match in the United States. The top prize? A silver butter dish.
1904: Men and women’s boxing is introduced at the modern Olympic games in St. Louis as display events. Men’s boxing was accepted into the Olympics, women’s was not.
1954: Barbara Buttrick is the first female boxer to have a fight broadcast on national television. Buttrick fought as a 98-pound flyweight and was only four feet and eleven inches tall.
1975: Eva Shain becomes the first female judge in professional boxing. She went on to judge many professional bouts, including a world heavyweight title bout and 50 other title bouts.
I find woman boxing to be an amazing achievement showing that woman can fight to.

MJ`s original Nike Contract
THIS WAS SIGNED ON OCTOBER 24, 1984 BY MICHEAL JORDAN HIMSELF
The day Michael Jordan signed his first contract with Nike, the world literally changed overnight..This was the first deal that catapulted Jordan to the next stratosphere and changed the way athletes are marketed forever..Just imagine how different the world would be if MJ and Nike never agreed to play ball..this ultimately paved the way for all future athletes to make millions
In 1984, the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association selected North Carolina's Michael Jordan (MJ) in the first round of the NBA draft. At the same time, Nike signed the promising young player to a 2.5 million dollar, five year contract. Nike worriedly included a clause that allowed the company to cancel the deal if sales of the shoe were below average.
In his first season Jordan wore a pair of black and red Nikes, and the company launched a commercial version of the shoe. The Air Jordan shoe included a silhouette of Jordan preparing to dunk that became called "the Jump Man". Michael established himself as one of the greatest players in NBA history, and the shoe quickly came to dominate the market.
